Known today as a gifted healer, Dr. Gary Holz was formerly an award-winning physicist in the field of high-energy physics. In the 1980's, he founded and served as CEO of Holz Industries, Inc., researchers, designers, and manufacturers of high–frequency microwave components used in satellites and other high–tech devices around the world. Dr. Holz holds over 15 patents in outer space technology, most still classified as Top Secret.

Career success, however, did not come to Dr. Holz without a price.

Ignoring his physical and emotional needs, he buried himself in a thriving career. Daily, he drank up to 40 cups of coffee, smoked two packs of cigarettes, and survived on as little as four hours of sleep a night. His advanced mind, however, enabled him to perform his work–but just as expertly, it enabled him to ignore the needs of his body and numb himself to nagging emotional pain.

Then, Dr. Holz's world changed drastically: At the height of his career in the 1980s, he was diagnosed with chronic progressive Multiple Sclerosis, a disease that, by no coincidence, numbs the body and brain.

By 1994, liver and kidney damage from the MS caused the medical profession to give him only two years to live. By then, Gary had lost all feeling in his body below the neck and was confined to a wheelchair–a quadriplegic–unable to move his legs and barely lift his arms.

Feeling desperate and depressed, and having lived as a quadriplegic for seven years, Gary had a chance meeting in 1994 with a naturopathic physician. The physician maintained a clinical practice in Australia and knew of an Aboriginal healer who spent part of his time in Brisbane and part in the Outback. Knowing the Aborigines are recognized for their powerful healing methods, the physician suggested Dr. Holz go to Australia to meet with this healer and his remote Aboriginal tribe.

Feeling he had nothing to lose, Dr. Holz journeyed alone to the Australian Outback, a challenging experience that would change his life–and his belief system–forever.

The remote Aboriginal tribe that ultimately welcomed Gary learned of his coming from a power they call 'The Big Guy' (others might say 'God' or 'Spirit'). For months prior to his arrival–before Dr. Holz was even aware of their existence–they readied themselves to share with him their healing powers and to guide him to become a conduit to the Western World of their healing beliefs.

Dr. Holz is only the second non-Aborigine to be given the honor of being taught Aboriginal healing techniques.

What the Aborigines knew –but Gary did not– was that within his brilliant scientific mind and failing body was a gifted healer waiting to emerge.

Dr. Holz lived with the Aborigines for a short time, listening, learning their ways, and slowly acknowledging and releasing long-held, painful emotions he had harbored since childhood. Little by little, he regained feeling throughout his entire body, the ability to use his arms fully, and limited use of his legs. The rest of the healing, his Aboriginal healers told Gary, was up to him.

Returning home, Dr. Holz began work to acquire the educational degrees he felt necessary to establish the credibility to bring the aboriginal healing techniques to the Western World.

In 1995, after completion of five years in the seminary, earning a Master's degree in Nutrition and a Doctorate of Science in Immunology, Dr. Holz opened his medical practice in California.

Despite ongoing acclaim for his work, Gary believed humbly that he was merely a healing conduit for God's loving energy, here to assist others on their own unique healing journeys.

Since 1995 he has helped relieve the symptoms of thousands of people and animals suffering with everything from HIV/AIDS to chronic pain.

In 2002 Dr. Holz was joined in his work by his wife, Robbie, whom he had met the previous year. A woman of boundless energy and compassion, Robbie Holz is a licensed counselor, spiritual channel, and inspirational speaker. She worked in concert with her husband to counsel patients on their healing journeys. She also teaches the healing principles of the mind-body-spirit connection through both personal counseling sessions and public presentations and workshops.

For many hours each day, Dr. Holz employed his powerful gifts to heal others around the world, both in person and through his remote powers. He wrote a book about his personal healing experience, Logic of the Heart: Secrets of Aboriginal Healing, and teaches his gift of healing to others.

Dr. Holz would eventually learn his particular journey with MS was perfectly designed to carry out his soul's life plan and mission when years later he again became physically confined to a wheelchair. He realized his wheelchair was a gift in many ways -- slowing him down physically so he would focus his mind more powerfully to channel God's healing energy to assist others. However, the greatest gift of his wheelchair was how it became a bridge to a deeper, richer relationship with God since he would now spend many undistracted hours every day talking to God.

In the winter of 2006, God requested Dr. Holz to finish his work and prepare to leave as he would be returning 'Home' in about a year. Dr. Holz learned this life plan had been completed and there was much work he would be needed for which would be accomplished from the Other Side.

A year later when Dr. Holz felt his wife Robbie knew how to heal herself and was able to teach others how to discover the healer within themselves, he prepared for his journey 'Home.' Dr. Holz passed to the Other Side on April 3, 2007. "A Message from Robbie Holz" is a beautifully-written account by Robbie of Dr. Holz' final messages and her own transformational healing.

Although Dr. Holz transitioned to the Other Side in 2007, he and Robbie still continue to work together as a healing team, with stronger healing gifts than ever before. As is her soul's life plan, Robbie continues to passionately teach the healing principles taught to her by Dr. Holz and remains committed to their mission of assisting others in reaching higher levels of wellness in mind/body/spirit through the healing love of God.

On the Other Side, Dr. Holz is not only fulfilling his desire to walk unaided but often walks on God's 'Beach' with God by his side, just as He walks alongside each of us now.
